News Topical, Digital Desk : Three bike riders returning from a feast were crushed by a vehicle in front of the Polytechnic College in Kishani town late last night. Two died on the spot, while the third died on the way to PGI Saifai. All three had come to attend a relative's daughter's wedding. The police have kept the bodies at the mortuary and informed the family about the accident.

Mohammad Wasim, 34, a resident of Ganesh Chaudhary village, Chhibramau police station area in Kannauj district, had come to attend the wedding of Idrees' daughter, a resident of Jatpura, Kishani, on Thursday. He was accompanied by his family members, 50-year-old Sattar Khan, and 35-year-old Aftab alias Chhote, residents of Girishganj, Chhibramau.

After the feast, Wasim, Sattar, and Aftab were returning home by bike that night. Wasim's brother, Nadeem, and his wife, Shaheen, left for Chhibramau on the other bike. When the bike reached the Polytechnic College on the Gwalior-Bareilly Highway around 10 p.m., they were struck by an oncoming vehicle.

Wasim and Sattar died on the spot, while Aftab was injured. The college watchman and villagers who arrived at the scene alerted 112, but in the meantime, several vehicles passed over the bodies. Inspector Kishani Chhatrapal Singh, who arrived at the scene, sent the bodies to the mortuary for post-mortem examination. Aftab was taken to Kishani CHC.
