News Topical, Digital Desk : In his 33-year career, Shah Rukh Khan has given many such films that his fans will remember for years to come. For Badshah Khan, who played the second lead in Deewana, the period from 1993 to 2005 was a golden period where he did many films like 'Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge', 'Raju Ban Gaya Gentleman', 'Dil To Pagal Hai', Veer Zara, which were commercial hits and made him a king in the hearts of fans.

King Khan, who has delivered so many successful films, went through a period when his films were failing miserably. Released in 2018, the Katrina Kaif and Anushka Sharma starrer "Zero" is often considered the biggest flop of Shah Rukh Khan's career, but that's not true. Today, we're going to tell you about a Shah Rukh Khan film that was even bigger than "Zero," a box office disaster.

The biggest flop came in 2004 with Veer-Zaara.

Shah Rukh Khan's biggest flop came during the same period when he was enjoying his golden period at the box office, cementing his place at the top of Bollywood with films like Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham, Devdas, Kal Ho Naa Ho, and Veer-Zaara. However, during this time, Shah Rukh Khan also delivered two flops, one of which was Ashutosh Gowariker's Swades, which later became a cult classic.

In 2004, he released another film, "Yeh Lamhe Judaai Ke." Raveena Tandon starred alongside him in this film. It may surprise you to know that Shah Rukh Khan and Raveena had signed on for the film in 1993, and production began in 1994. Directed by Birendra Nath, the film was originally titled "Jaadu," and shooting was completed that same year.

Only this much collection was done at the box office

Due to various reasons, "Yeh Lamhe Judaai Ke" was shelved after completion, and the makers resumed work on it in 2004. The movie cast some new stars, including TV actress Rashmi Desai  . The makers combined the film's original story with Rashmi's bold scenes and unusual storyline, which led both Shah Rukh and Raveena Tandon to flatly refuse to dub for the film and also to refrain from promoting it.

The film finally released in theatres on April 9, 2004, clashing with the biggest blockbuster of the year, Masti. Shah Rukh Khan's Veer-Zaara also released in the same year, opening with ₹2.50 crore at the box office. However, Yeh Lamhe Judaai Ke bombed badly at the box office, opening with just ₹57 lakh. Despite Shah Rukh Khan's name, the film managed to do business of only ₹1 crore worldwide, becoming the biggest flop of King Khan's career. If you want to watch Yeh Lamhe Judaai Ke, you can watch it on Prime Video.
