News Topical, Digital Desk : Former Supreme Court Chief Justice DY Chandrachud has instructed lawyers to live up to ethics. He says that all lawyers should establish their identity as "facilitators of justice".

According to former CJI Chandrachud, there is no shortcut to success. Especially the candidates studying law keep learning something new throughout their life. They are independent thinkers.

What did the former CJI say?

Addressing students at a law college in Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, the former CJI said-

Lawyers should establish their image as the architects of justice. Justice should come first for them. If needed, take guidance from others, but your thinking should be independent.

Emphasis should be on increasing the participation of women: Former CJI

CJI Chandrachud said that if the new generation learns something new and remains honest towards their duty, then there are many opportunities open for you in this field. Today women are also joining superspeciality and technical branches. This change should also come in the field of law. Emphasis should be laid on increasing the participation of women in law as well.

Advice given to lawyers

According to Justice Chandrachud, "Many students come from small towns and rural areas. During this time, they not only make important contributions to the law college but also weave new stories of success. For better practice, students studying law should be provided with library database. Seniors should support new lawyers in their initial days and help them financially."
