News Topical, Digital Desk : China on Monday warned that its view of the US-South Korea alliance would change if the US and South Korea shift their strategic focus to trying to contain Beijing following the agreement on joint production of nuclear submarines.

The alliance's stated purpose is to counter North Korean threats. China's reaction comes after a US Navy official said that nuclear-powered submarines being built by South Korea with US support would be used to counter China.
