The video of this wedding has also surfaced, in which it can be seen that the groom is waiting with the mangalsutra in his hand. The girl's family is trying to convince her. However, the girl did not agree till the end. In such a situation, the police reached the spot and the marriage was cancelled.

It is being told that the bride refused to marry on the spot. After this, she left the mandap with her lover amidst police protection. The incident happened on Friday (23 May). The marriage of a girl from Buvanhalli village of Hassan taluk and a boy from Alur taluk was taking place in Adichunchanagiri marriage mandap of Hassan.

The girl locked herself in the room

When the time came to tie the mangalsutra, the girl refused to marry. The conversation between the girl and her family members continued for a few minutes. The parents and relatives tried to convince her, but she did not listen. The boy kept waiting with the mangalsutra in his hand, but the girl said that there is someone else in her life and she will marry only that person. Saying this, she locked herself in a room.

The girl said- I am not in a position to take a decision

When the police got the information, a team reached there. After talking to the girl, the police called her boyfriend and after both of them agreed, they talked to the girl's parents. After this, the police took the girl and her boyfriend to the police station. There, statements of both were taken and after that the girl was sent to her grandmother's house. The girl told the police that she is very scared. Right now she is not in a position to take any decision.
