This has now heated up Uttar Pradesh politics. SP chief Akhilesh Yadav has now issued a statement on the matter. Akhilesh Yadav said, "I won't say much about it, but every color is associated with a particular religion. Every religion has a color."
Akhilesh Yadav said that red is the color of socialists. Red is not only the color of revolution, but it is also the color of our goddesses. It is the color of their attire. Hanuman ji is also red. When newly married couples get married, their bangles are also red. Therefore, no one's feelings should be hurt.
Akhilesh Yadav further stated that we want to give half the population their rights and respect. He asked who will decide who will be counted in this category. He stated that women constitute half the population. He added that the government is still talking about the other half. Those who constitute half the population of the PDA community should receive their rights and respect.
Aparna Yadav had burnt the SP-Congress flag.

In a social media post, she wrote, "Today, on this dark night, I have come to burn the flags of these political parties, which are like Duryodhana and Dushasan, and to light the lamp of the identity of the entire Indian woman power."
She further wrote that if she had remained silent today, her conscience would never have forgiven her. Through this protest, she has come to tell these heretics that their opposition to the rights of Indian women will be met with their complete destruction. She wrote that the nation's sovereignty and the entire nation will never forgive these evil rulers of the Kaliyuga.
During this, Aparna Yadav alleged that the opposition does not respect the women of the country. Women will never forgive this attitude of the opposition. After the bill's defeat, Aparna Yadav described it as a "dark night."
