One such case has come to light where Mila Maggie, who won the title of Miss England, has left the Miss World Beauty Contest. People were shocked to hear the reason Maggie gave for leaving the show.

After leaving this competition being held in India, Mila Maggi has accused the organizers of exploiting her. She said that due to exploitation, she feels like a prostitute. However, after leaving the competition, at first she had cited personal reasons behind her decision.

Why did you participate in the competition?

Talking to The Sun, Mila Magee said that she had gone to this contest to bring about a change. But, she had to just sit like the performing monkeys, which made her feel like a prostitute. She said that is why she is no longer a part of the contest.

She said she decided to speak after being paraded in front of wealthy male patrons. Maggie also said she was instructed to wear heavy make-up and wear a gown from morning to night during the competition.

Who were you asked to entertain?

She said there were two girls at each table of six guests and we were expected to sit with them all evening and entertain them to thank them. She said, “This is very wrong, I have not come here to entertain people.”

Mila Maggi said, "Miss World should have the same values, but it is outdated and stuck in the past. They made me feel like a prostitute." On May 7, Maggi went to Hyderabad for promotional events and left the competition on May 16 citing personal reasons.
