Complaint after giving bribe of Rs 20,000

The complainant then paid a bribe of ₹20,000 on March 23rd at the police station in the presence of both officers. When the remaining amount was demanded and pressure continued, the victim contacted the Anti-Corruption Wing. Following this, the ACB conducted a preliminary investigation against the two officers and subsequently filed a case of criminal misconduct.

The ACB stated regarding the matter, "An investigation is underway, and action will be taken according to due process of law." It should be noted that in Telangana, the ACB has caught more than seven officers red-handed in 2026 by conducting raids in Medak, Nirmal, Warangal, and Hyderabad. Furthermore, in one of the biggest raids this year, more than 3.4 million rupees were seized from a police inspector.
