News Topical, Digital Desk : While the Grand Alliance parties in Bihar are claiming to oust the NDA government from power, a new equation has raised alarm bells. Efforts are underway to form a third front for the Bihar Assembly elections under the leadership of Asaduddin Owaisi's party, the AIMIM. This third front has been named the "Grand Democratic Alliance." Sources suggest that Owaisi's AIMIM is in contact with Tej Pratap Yadav's Jan Shakti Janata Dal, Chandrashekhar Azad's Azad Samaj Party, and Pashupati Paras's Rashtriya Lok Shakti Party.
Akhtarul Iman announced the name
AMIM has formed an alliance with Swami Prasad Maurya's party, Apni Janata Party. AIMIM Bihar President Akhtarul Iman said, "The name of the third front is the Grand Democratic Alliance (GDA). We are currently in talks with several parties. The scope of GDA is going to be very large. We will reveal it soon."
RJD is the B team of BJP- Akhtarul Iman
Akhtarul Iman said that his party would contest around 100 seats. He said, "RJD is the BJP's B team. We approached RJD on behalf of Bihar's 18 percent Muslim population and requested an alliance. We asked for only six seats. RJD refused to form an alliance with us. There is widespread anger among these 18 percent Muslims. The Grand Alliance will have to suffer the consequences in the elections."
