News Topical, Digital Desk : A tragic road accident occurred in Thoothukudi, Tamil Nadu. Three trainee doctors were killed in a road accident. All three were trainees at the Thoothukudi Government Hospital. Two other colleagues were seriously injured.

This tragic road accident occurred at 3 a.m. today. Five doctors were traveling to Newport Beach when the car they were traveling in lost control and crashed into a roadside tree. The accident was so devastating that the car was completely destroyed, and three doctors died on the spot.

Two other trainee doctors were seriously injured in the accident and were immediately admitted to the Thoothukudi Government Hospital, where they are undergoing treatment. The injured trainee doctors are reported to be in critical condition.

Thoothukudi South police, who arrived at the scene after receiving information, have registered a case and launched an investigation into the exact cause of the accident. The deceased and injured doctors had all recently joined the hospital for training.

It is being reported that this car accident occurred due to the car skidding due to rain. Preliminary investigations have pointed to speeding and drowsiness as the main causes of the accident. However, the exact cause of the accident is not yet known.
