News Topical, Digital Desk : The menace of stray dogs has once again been witnessed in the Mahagun Mywoods Society in Greater Noida West. Late Thursday evening, a man out for a walk near the society's park was suddenly attacked by three to four stray dogs. The victim managed to escape. The incident has left residents of the society terrified.

It is being reported that the victim was out for his usual evening walk when a pack of stray dogs surrounded him and tried to bite him. There were no people nearby at the time, and the victim managed to escape, but was left terrified.

The entire incident was captured on CCTV

According to reports, after the incident, a resident posted a video of the entire incident on social media, clearly captured on CCTV cameras installed in the society. This incident has once again raised serious concerns about safety in the society and the growing threat of stray dogs.

Residents say this isn't the first incident. Children, the elderly, and women have been victims of dog attacks numerous times before, but the society management has failed to take any concrete action. They say they've filed numerous complaints, but no permanent solution has been found.

Questions raised about security in the society

This incident has once again raised the question as to when will the security and administrative accountability of the people living in residential societies be ensured or will such residents continue to be victims of stray dogs.

Amit Singh, a resident of this society, said, "We can't even send our children to the park to play. The administration should take immediate action so that no one's life is in danger."

Following the incident, local residents have appealed to the Greater Noida Authority to urgently control the growing stray dog population in the area and ensure their vaccination or shelter. They say that unless effective steps are taken, such incidents will continue to occur.
