New Delhi. Sawan Shivratri 2024: According to astrological calculations, today, i.e. 02 August, is Sawan Shivratri . This day is dedicated to Shiva-Shakti. On this auspicious occasion, special worship of Lord Shiva is being done in temples. The devotees also worship Lord Mahadev and Mother Parvati at their homes with rituals. Also, they are fasting to get the desired result. With this fast's virtue, every devotee's wish is fulfilled. Along with this, happiness comes in life. If you also want to be a part of the grace of Shiva-Shakti, then today, after bathing and meditation, worship Lord Shiva and Mother Parvati methodically. Also, recite Shiva Chalisa and chant the following mantras during worship. At the same time, the worship concludes with Shiva Aarti.

1. Somnath in Saurashtra and Mallikarjuna in Srisaila.

In Ujjaini, I worship Mahakala, Omkara and Amaleshwara.

Vaidyanath in Parlya and Bhima Shankara in Dakini.

I worship Lord Rama at the bridge and Lord Naga in the forest of Daruka

In Varanasi, I worship Lord Visvesvara and Lord Trimbaka on the banks of the Gautama river

Kedara in the Himalayas and Ghushmesh in the temple of Siva

One should recite these Jyotirlingas in the evening and morning.

2. OM TRYAMBAKA WE PRAY FOR YOUR SUGANDHI AND PUSHTI.

Free me from the bondage of death like Urvashi from the nectar.

3. I bow to this Lord, the form of Nirvana, the Supreme Lord, the pervading Brahman, the form of the Vedas.
