New Delhi. Sawan Somwar 2024: In the month of Sawan, Lord Mahadev and Mother Parvati are worshiped with rituals. Also, Sawan Monday fast is observed. According to the Vedic calendar, August 19 i.e. today is the last Monday of the month of Sawan. It is also Sawan Purnima. On this occasion, the festival of Rakshabandhan is being celebrated with great pomp across the country.
