Aja Ekadashi auspicious time (Aja Ekadashi Shubh Muhurat)  

The Ekadashi Tithi of Krishna Paksha of Bhadrapada month is starting on 29th August at 01:19 in the night. At the same time, this Tithi is going to end on 30th August at 01:37 in the night. In such a situation, according to the Udaya Tithi, the fast of Aja Ekadashi will be observed on Thursday, 29th August.  

Offer these things

On the day of Aja Ekadashi, when you worship Lord Vishnu and place his idol on a chowki, keep in mind that a yellow coloured mat should be spread on the chowki. Along with this, yellow coloured clothes should also be offered to Lord Shri Hari.

During the puja, offer turmeric, yellow sandalwood, whole rice, yellow flowers, perfume and incense sticks to Lord Vishnu. This pleases him a lot. Along with this, offer Tulsi leaves to Lord Vishnu and do not forget to add Tulsi in his offering, otherwise his offering is considered incomplete. You can also offer yellow sweets to Lord Vishnu, such as - Besan Laddu or Ras Malai etc.

On Aja Ekadashi, Lord Vishnu should be worshipped along with Goddess Lakshmi. After this, take milk mixed with saffron in a Dakshinavarti conch and anoint Lord Vishnu with it. Chanting the mantras of Lord Vishnu on this day is also considered very auspicious. The next day, i.e. on Dwadashi Tithi, give donation to a Brahmin according to your capacity. By doing this, happiness and prosperity remains in the life of the devotee.
