News Topical, Digital Desk : Sonam Offered Rs 20 Lakh For Murder: New revelations are being made in the murder case of Raja Raghuvanshi, a resident of Indore, who went on honeymoon in Meghalaya. According to sources, Sonam Raghuvanshi had offered Rs 20 lakh for the murder of her husband Raja Raghuvanshi. It is also being said that Sonam also helped the accused in pushing the body into a deep ditch after the murder. Raja Raghuvanshi's body was found in a ditch near a waterfall in Sohra area of ​​​​East Khasi Hills district on June 2.

According to a report by NDTV, sources said that Sonam Raghuvanshi had offered Rs 4 lakh to the hired killers to kill her husband Raja Raghuvanshi, but later she increased the amount to Rs 20 lakh when they refused to do the job. According to top police sources, Sonam helped the other accused in pushing Raghuvanshi's body into a ditch in Meghalaya.

The accused had met the couple earlier in Bengaluru

According to sources, the murder accused first met the newlywed couple in Bengaluru, from where they took their connecting flight to the Northeast. Since the victim and the accused were from the same city, they had a conversation. Sonam had allegedly hired the contract killer to get rid of her husband. She allegedly wanted to live with her lover. The man Sonam loved was named Raj Kushwaha. He was in a relationship with her before marriage.

Sonam hatched a conspiracy with Raj Kushwaha

Police say that Sonam along with Raj Kushwaha had conspired to kill Raja Raghuvanshi. It was the newly married Sonam who had chosen Meghalaya for the honeymoon and booked the tickets. According to sources, Sonam Raghuvanshi had planned the murder with her alleged lover Raj Kushwaha just a few days after her marriage on May 11 in Indore. Although Kushwaha had not gone to Meghalaya, he was in touch with Sonam.

The three people accused of carrying out the murder - Vicky Thakur, Anand and Akash - were allegedly hired by Sonam and Raj Kushwaha to kill Raja. So far five people have been arrested in the Raja Raghuvanshi murder case. The police is interrogating all of them.
