Marathi actor Vigyan Mane first accused Palash Muchhal of a ₹40 lakh fraud and then accused him of cheating on Smriti Mandhana. Vigyan Mane is said to be none other than cricketer Smriti's close friend. Following his shocking statement, Palash has now taken a major step.

Palash Muchhal called the allegations a lie

Palash Muchhal has filed a defamation suit against Vigyan Mane for ₹10 crore. The actor dismissed the allegations in a social media post, calling them false.

Palash said in a post on Instagram story, “My lawyer Shreyansh Mitharee has sent a legal notice of Rs 10 crore to Vigyan Mane of Sangli for making false, derogatory and highly defamatory allegations with a deliberate intention to tarnish my reputation and character.”

What allegations were made against Palash Muchhal?

First, Vigyan Mane accused Palash Muchhal of fraud and said that Palash had taken 40 lakh rupees from him for making a film but when he asked for the money back, he did not get any response. After this, he made shocking allegations against Palash in an interview given to Hindustan Times. Vigyan had said, "I was at the wedding celebration (23 November 2025) when he was caught red-handed in bed with another woman. It was a terrible scene, Indian women cricketers beat him. The entire family is thieves. I thought that he would get married and settle in Sangli but it backfired on me."
