News Topical, Digital Desk : A double-decker bus travelling from Bihar to Delhi met with an accident near Etawah in Uttar Pradesh. The bus fell off the Agra Lucknow Expressway. Two people died in the accident while more than 50 people were injured.

How did the accident happen?

According to the information, a private bus going from Bihar to Delhi met with an accident in Etawah's Saifai area. As soon as this bus reached near milestone 103 on the Agra Lucknow Expressway, it suddenly fell down from the expressway. It is being speculated that this accident happened due to the driver falling asleep. 

Two passengers died in the accident

It is said that there were about 80 people in the bus. Two people died while more than 50 people were injured. Among the dead are a woman named Saida Khatun (Nepal) and Manoj Kumar, 55, a resident of Darbhanga (Bihar).

Senior officials reached the spot

As soon as the information about the accident was received, the local police reached the spot and started relief and rescue work. The police took him to the hospital. Etawah's DM and SSP along with other officials reached the spot and took stock of the situation.
