News Topical, Digital Desk : Varanasi News: The report of the Special Task Force (SIT) of UP Police formed to investigate the famous Lalpur gang rape case of Varanasi has arrived. There have been many shocking revelations in the SIT report.

According to the SIT report, "In this case, the mother of the victim reported to the Lalpur Pandeypur police station on 04 April 2025 that her daughter had gone somewhere from home on 29.03.2025 and has not returned yet. On this information, a missing person report was immediately registered by the police station. The police recovered the girl from her friend's house on the same day. Initially, the victim was refusing to go to her home. But after a lot of persuasion, the victim was handed over to her family as per the rules.

After this, on the night of 06.04.2025, the mother of the victim again came to the police station and told that on returning home, her daughter told the family members that different persons had raped her at different places during the period of her disappearance. On the basis of the complaint of the victim, FIR No. 94/2025 under sections 70 (1), 74, 123, 126 (2), 127 (2), 351 (2) BNS was registered at Lalpur Pandeypur Police Station, Varanasi and immediate action was taken and the named and exposed accused were arrested. A total of 09 accused were arrested on 08.04.2025, a total of 03 accused were arrested on 11.04.2025 and a total of 02 accused were arrested on 15.04.2025. Thus, yesterday 14 accused were sent to judicial custody within 07 days of registration of the case.
