News Topical, Digital Desk : Seema Taparia has become a prominent name in the matchmaking world over the past few years. She gained popularity through the Netflix show "Indian Matchmaking." She subsequently appeared on several shows, including Bigg Boss and Bollywood Wives.

However, in 2019, TV actress Nausheen Ali Sardar, who appeared on popular shows like Crime Patrol and Savdhaan India, accused Seema Taparia of not matching her because she was Muslim. Matchmaker Seema Taparia has now broken her silence on these allegations and revealed the full truth.

What did Seema say on Nausheen Ali Sardar's 'Muslim' statement?

Responding to Nausheen Ali Sardar's accusation, Seema Taparia said in an interview with Screen, “Matchmaking is a matter of luck and I am not God. Five years ago, when this show came on air, they asked me to do matchmaking. I simply told them that I don't do it for any particular caste. Five years have passed and now someone has published it. I have only gained publicity from it. I just said it innocently.”

Responding to the online trolling she received following her statement, Seema said, “I'm enjoying every moment of the fame I'm getting, and it hasn't made me any egoistic. I've met many stars and appeared on several shows, so I've had a lot of fun. Today's younger generation is a big fan of mine. I even enjoy the trolling. Whether negative or positive, all kinds of publicity are good. So what should I be afraid of? Not everyone will write good things about me.”

What was Nausheen Ali Sardar's allegation?

In fact, in a 2019 interview with Siddharth Kannan, TV actress Nausheen Ali Sardar had accused Seema Taparia, saying, "My sister approached her for matchmaking because her show was a huge hit. However, when I told her that I was open to marrying someone from any caste, from Catholic to Sikh to Punjabi, Seema told me that we can't find a boy for you because you're Muslim. I laughed out loud at her statement, as it was absurd."
