News Topical, Digital Desk : Four people, including the shooter, were killed in two separate shootings in Houston, US, on Wednesday. Police say initial investigations suggest the two incidents are linked.

A driver opened fire on another car in the Houston suburb of Sugar Land around 1 p.m. The driver of the other car was seriously injured and taken to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead. Police spokeswoman Alicia Alaniz said it was unclear whether the incident was a case of road rage or a related altercation.

Where did the second incident happen?

About half an hour after the incident, and about 11 kilometers from the first incident, a shooting was reported at a mechanic's shop. Police officer Lt. Larry Crosson said the gunman shot a mechanic and a witness there. The witness was filming the attacker as he was leaving.

attacker commits suicide

Police said the description of the attacker and vehicle in both incidents was similar. A short time later, police found his body in a vehicle about 6 kilometers away. Investigations revealed that he had committed suicide by shooting himself. Police have not yet released the names of the victims and attacker.
