News Topical, Digital Desk : The District and Sessions Court complex in Roshanabad, Haridwar, was thrown into a panic when a bomb threat was sent via email. The threatening message claimed that RDX and IEDs had been planted in the complex. A specific time was also mentioned, prompting security agencies to immediately go on alert.

Upon receiving the information, police, intelligence agencies, and a bomb disposal squad arrived at the scene. As a precautionary measure, the entire court complex was evacuated and a thorough search operation was initiated. Every part of the court building is being thoroughly searched for suspicious objects. Security has also been increased in the surrounding areas to avert any potential threat in a timely manner.

Police investigation begins

According to police officials, a technical investigation into the threatening email has been initiated. The cyber cell team is working to gather information about the sender's location, IP address, and network. Preliminary investigations suggest it may be the work of mischievous elements, but other possibilities are not being ruled out.

There have been threats before

It's worth noting that similar threats have surfaced in other cities in Uttarakhand in recent months. Emails threatening to bomb public places were received, which, after investigation, were proven to be fake. However, these incidents have increased the vigilance of security agencies.

The situation is currently under control

Haridwar police say the situation is currently under control and there is no need for the public to panic. Security has been further strengthened. Only after the investigation is complete will it be clear whether this was a genuine threat or a prank. The administration is currently not taking any kind of laxity.
