News Topical, Digital Desk : Trainee IPS officer Madhav Upadhyay was removed from his first posting in Rajasthan on charges of extortion. According to reports, he was accused of extorting money from illegal mineral miners. Following this, Ajmer GRP SP Narendra Singh initiated an investigation into the matter.

During this period, orders were issued to remove trainee IPS officer Madhav Upadhyay, Gangrar CO Shivanya Singh, and Shahbad CO Richpal Meena from their postings. Currently, WhatsApp chats between the main accused, Ajay Panchal, and other accused have revealed transactions totaling ₹30-40 lakh.

The main accused is close to the MLA

According to sources, Ajay Panchal, who was the personal assistant to Jahazpur MLA Gopichand Meena, was friends with several police officers and employees. Several videos have also surfaced of Panchal partying at the MLA quarters opposite the Assembly, where police officers would party with him.
