News Topical, Digital Desk : A sensational murder has been reported in Theog, Shimla district, Himachal Pradesh. A migrant laborer from Nepal was found murdered. Superintendent of Police Gaurav Singh said the deceased, identified as Dhaniram, had come from Nepal to work as a laborer in apple orchards.

According to police, a complaint was filed by a local orchard owner in Jarai village, stating that a few days ago, a family from Nepal had requested work in his orchard. He provided the family with work and allowed them to live in a shed on his property

Dhaniram was found unconscious.

According to the police, Dhaniram was accompanied by his maternal uncle Suresh, his wife, and his five children. The complaint stated that when the orchard owner went to the shed on Saturday, the family was missing. Upon searching the shed, they found Dhaniram unconscious and later pronounced dead.

Police is tracing the family of the deceased after registering a case

The garden owner reported the incident to the police, after which a police team from Theog arrived at the scene and began investigating the case. Based on the complaint, police have registered an FIR under Section 103 (a) (murder) of the Indian Penal Code (IPC), and efforts are underway to locate the deceased's family.

Police searching for unknown accused

The family consisted of Suresh (Nepali), his wife, their three daughters, two sons, and nephew Dhani Ram. The complainant suspects that Suresh (Nepali) committed the crime during the night and fled the scene with his family. The investigation into the case is ongoing. The Theog police station is taking necessary legal and investigative action. The search for the suspect is ongoing.

Earlier, on February 18, police in Chidgaon, under the jurisdiction of the Rohru police station in Shimla district, received information that the body of an unidentified man was lying in the Pabbar River (Kilocha Nala) near the Badiyara Bridge, bleeding profusely. The deceased's hands and feet were found tied with cloth. The deceased was identified as Rakesh Pratap (36), alias Seti Ram Kami, a resident of Dakadam, Nepal.
