News Topical, Digital Desk : Gurugram Road Accident News: A speeding Scorpio car hit several vehicles in Gurugram's Molahera village on Sunday (June 29). The Scorpio going at a high speed first hit five vehicles parked in the street one after the other.

After that, the car ran over two youths standing there, one of whom somehow managed to escape but the other youth got hit by the car. The car dragged the youth for about 20 meters. After the incident, the driver of the car fled. This incident of hitting the vehicles was captured in the CCTV camera installed there. 

Police is investigating on the basis of CCTV

A complaint has been lodged with the police. The police have not registered a case yet. The police are investigating on the basis of CCTV footage and a case is likely to be registered by Monday (30 June).

On June 24, a Skoda car took the life of an LLB student

On June 24, a speeding Skoda car hit an LLB student in Gurugram, in which he lost his life. The student's name was Harsh. Police spokesperson Sandeep Kumar said that Harsh had gone to eat at a dhaba on NH-48 with his friend. He was standing in front of the dhaba when a speeding Skoda car crushed him.

Police arrested the accused

Later, while investigating the case, the police arrested the accused youth named Mohit. According to the information, the accused lives in a PG in Sector-14 and he is a civil engineer in a company. During interrogation, the accused told that he was returning from office on the night of the incident, during which he dozed off while driving and his car collided with the youth. 

According to Gurugram Police, on June 24, early in the morning, Sector-37 police station received information from the Civil Hospital that a young man died due to injuries sustained in a road accident. After receiving the information, the police reached the government hospital and the body was sent for postmortem. The deceased youth was identified as Harsh, a resident of Omnagar. Along with arresting the accused, the police also recovered a Skoda car from him.
