- Kutup Muhurta - 11:50 am to 12:38 pm
- Rohini Muhurta - 12:38 pm to 1:27 pm
- Afternoon period - from 1:27 pm to 3:53 pm
Definitely do this work
On Sarva Pitru Amavasya, wake up early in the morning and bathe in a holy river. If you are unable to do so, you can bathe at home by mixing Ganga water in the water. Perform Tarpan and Pind Daan for the ancestors on this day.
On this day, offer food to cows, dogs, crows, gods, and ants. Also, feed Brahmins and give alms according to your means. Doing so will bring blessings from your ancestors.
Peepal tree remedies
On Sarva Pitru Amavasya, be sure to worship the Peepal tree, as it is believed to be the abode of ancestors.
