He revealed that Salman Khan used to cry after listening to this song and feeling the pain of his breakup with Aishwarya.

Sharing an anecdote from the sets of Salman Khan, Sameer Anjaan said, “The title track was not written keeping her (Aishwarya Rai) in mind. What was written was based on his broken story with the real Aishwarya Rai. He would call Himesh Reshammiya and get him to sing the song before giving the shot and would cry a lot.”
