News Topical, Digital Desk : Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma detailed the BJP government's two-year anniversary achievements. He also took a swipe at the Congress party and the previous Ashok Gehlot government. On Friday (December 12), he said that his government has accomplished more work in two years than Gehlot's five years in office.
70 percent work has been completed- CM
While listing his achievements, he also didn't hesitate to take a political dig at the opposition. He said, "We are taking the work done in the last two years to the public. 70 percent of the promises made during the elections have been fulfilled. Policy reforms have been made in the past two years, and a lot of development work has also been done. 392 projects were promised in the election manifesto. Of these, 274 have been completed or are underway."
"Those who eat the money of corruption will not be spared."
The CM said, "Rajasthan ranks first in 11 national schemes, second in 5 and third in 9. Earlier, schemes used to get buried in files, but now they are being implemented. Regarding drinking water, Congress only did the work of delaying and misleading. During our government, a budget of 26 thousand crore rupees was released for water. Congress did not do any work regarding Yamuna water. Not only the fish involved in corruption, but also the crocodiles will be caught. This is happening. Those who have eaten the money through corruption will not be spared at all."
There were frequent power cuts during the Congress regime: CM
The Chief Minister further said, "During the Congress rule, there were frequent power cuts and the system was in a bad state. Our government has created history by building roads. Work worth Rs 27,638 crore has been done. Earlier, schemes were made and implemented only on paper. The youth were very upset during the Congress rule. Negative feelings were created in them. Due to paper leaks, the youth were frustrated and disappointed. We have completed 296 examinations on time without any paper leaks. We are working to make the youth of Rajasthan job creators. We are providing electricity to farmers in 22 districts even during the day. Announcements for women empowerment used to remain only on paper. Our government is working to implement the schemes on the ground."
'Crime has reduced, law and order has improved'
The Chief Minister stated that law and order was in a complete shambles during the Congress regime. Under his government, 24,000 fewer cases have been registered. Crime has decreased, and law and order has improved. Stricter laws have been enacted regarding religious conversions. A special camp was set up for devotees from Rajasthan at the Prayagraj Mahakumbh, and food was provided. Rising Rajasthan and Pravasi Rajasthan Divas were successfully organized. A world record for Surya Namaskar was set. The Chief Minister stated that three years of his term remain. He stated that he will fulfill all the promises made in the manifesto.
