According to this release, Dassault Aviation and Tata Advanced Systems Limited have signed four production transfer agreements to manufacture the fuselage of the Rafale fighter aircraft in India, which is an important step towards strengthening the country's aerospace manufacturing capabilities and supporting global supply chains.

Let us inform you that this will be the first time that the structure of the Rafale fighter plane will be made in India outside France. This decision is being described as a great and successful step towards India's Make in India mission.

Where will Rafale's fuselage be made in India

It is being told that according to the agreement between the two companies, TASL will build a highly modern manufacturing unit in Hyderabad. Many important sections of Rafale will be made in this unit. These include the lateral shares of the rear fuselage, the entire rear part, central and front sections.

It is believed that this manufacturing unit will start manufacturing its first fuselage section before FY 2028. According to estimates, there is a plan to produce 2 full fuselages every month.

This is the important part of the aircraft, which connects everything except the main parts of the aircraft (wings, tail and engine).
