News Topical, Digital Desk : December 6th is Baba Saheb's Mahaparinirvan Diwas. Every political party is trying to achieve political success by paying tribute to Baba Saheb on this day. The BJP is organizing district-level tribute programs, while the BSP is gathering workers from 12 divisions in Lucknow and six divisions in Noida. The Samajwadi Party sought permission to hold a function at the Indira Gandhi Pratishthan in Lucknow but was denied permission, so it is organizing district-wide events.

Baba Saheb's Mahaparinirvan Diwas has become a vote-gathering opportunity for political parties. We're not saying this, but BSP state president Vishwanath Pal said that during the SP regime, district names were changed, and only if the BJP restores them will it be considered a true tribute. He also said that Behenji wasn't going to Noida, and it's likely she will be in Lucknow and Akash Anand will be in Noida. The workers are showing enthusiasm.

SP did not get permission

It should be noted that the Samajwadi Party was planning to organize a tribute meeting for Baba Saheb at the Indira Gandhi Pratishthan. They had obtained permission from the Public Distribution System (LDDA), but the police revoked the permission. Therefore, they are now calling it a conspiracy against Baba Saheb, and the BJP is also targeting it.

BJP claims – following in the footsteps of Baba Saheb

BJP spokesperson Rakesh Tripathi said that only the BJP is following in the true footsteps of Baba Saheb. The double-engine government is working to fulfill his dream.

According to political analysts, political parties don't want to miss such opportunities, so the opportunity is here and all have jumped into the fray. Vijay Upadhyay says that every political party needs Baba Saheb. The 2027 elections are coming. It is believed that Baba Saheb's love wins the trust of Dalits. It remains to be seen for whom the Dalit vote will become crucial politically.
