PM Modi can address three sessions
According to the information, PM Modi can address three sessions in this program, in which the first session will be on inclusive and sustainable economic development, in which no one is left out.
The second session, titled "A Dynamic World - The G20's Contribution," aims to highlight issues such as disaster risk reduction and climate change. The third session's theme is "A Fair and Just Future for All." PM Modi is expected to address all three sessions.
'First G20 summit to be held in Africa'
PM Modi shared his thoughts ahead of his visit to South Africa. "I am going to Johannesburg at the invitation of Cyril Ramaphosa to attend the 20th G20 Leaders' Summit under the South African Presidency," Prime Minister Modi said.
PM Modi said this would be a special summit as it would be the first G20 summit to be held in Africa. During India's G20 presidency in 2023, the African Union became a member of the G20.
PM Modi will also participate in the IBSA Leaders Summit
According to information available so far, PM Modi will participate in the India-Brazil-South Africa (IBSA) Leaders' Meeting being hosted by South Africa.
