News Topical, Digital Desk : Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah will spearhead the BJP's campaign in the Kerala Assembly elections. The BJP is deploying its top national leadership to launch an aggressive campaign to secure a historic victory in Kerala.

PM Modi, Home Minister Shah and other senior leaders, including various chief ministers, are scheduled to visit the state, underlining the party's determination to open its account in the 140-member Assembly.

PM Modi's whirlwind tour

According to party sources, Prime Minister Modi will make two whirlwind tours of key districts, addressing rallies and energizing party workers. The BJP's election strategy focuses on extensive outreach in politically crucial areas such as Kasaragod, Palakkad, Thiruvananthapuram, Kollam, and Thrissur.

Electoral gains give BJP confidence

The party has gained confidence from recent electoral gains, notably actor-turned-politician Suresh Gopi's landslide victory in the Thrissur Lok Sabha seat, where he won by a margin of over 70,000 votes. This was followed by another achievement in the state when the BJP won control of the Thiruvananthapuram Municipal Corporation in the local body elections held in December.
