News Topical, Digital Desk : The dates of the monsoon session of Parliament have been announced. Union Minister Kiren Rijiju has given this information. Union Parliamentary Affairs Minister Kiren Rijiju said that the monsoon session of Parliament will be held from 21 July to 12 August.

 

On the other hand, the opposition is continuously demanding a special session of Parliament on Operation Sindoor and the Pahalgam terrorist attack. Meanwhile, the government has made this announcement. According to PTI sources, as per the recommendations sent to the President by the Cabinet Committee on Parliamentary Affairs, the monsoon session of Parliament will run from July 21 to August 12.

Discussion on impeachment motion against Justice Verma 

Parliamentary Affairs Minister Kiren Rijiju has contacted several opposition leaders, including the Congress, TMC, Samajwadi Party and DMK, in connection with the Justice Yashwant Verma impeachment case.

 

Cash was recovered from the residence

In March this year, a fire broke out at Justice Verma's residence in Delhi, after which burnt cash was allegedly recovered. At that time Justice Verma was a judge in the Delhi High Court. After this case, he has been accused of corruption.

 

When was it organised before this?

Earlier, the budget session of Parliament was held in two parts. Let us tell you that the first session started on 31 January and lasted till 13 February. The second part of the budget session of Parliament started on 10 March and ended today i.e. on 4 April.
