Air Chief Marshal said- once you commit, then you don't even listen to yourself

At the CII Summit, Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Defense Minister Rajnath Singh's Air Chief Marshal Amar Preet Singh addressed the gathering. During this, he said, 'We have reiterated India's commitment to the world. Our only goal is to give up our lives but not to break our promises. Now we will have to always be prepared for the future. We won the war on the basis of a Whole of Nation approach. We will have to use the same approach to strengthen the defense forces. This is not just a Whole of Nation approach, we will have to work in a Whole of Nation mission mode and bring results. He further said that we, the Indian Army, believe in only one thing that once we make a commitment, we do not even listen to ourselves.

The Air Chief Marshal said, "Every day, we are discovering new technologies. In the future too, we as a nation will be able to deliver the goods and we will be able to achieve our objectives. The AMCA- Advanced Medium Combat Aircraft has also been approved for private industry participation, which is a very big step and today the country has such trust in the private industry and I am sure it will pave the way for bigger things to come in the future." He said whether it is the Army or the Navy, the Air Force will always be there and the Air Force should be of interest to both. He said, "Whatever operation we do, we cannot do it without the Air Force and I think this has been proved very well even during this operation (Sindoor). We cannot just talk about production in India. We have to start designing and developing in India as well and when it comes to production in numbers, the capability comes to the fore. So we need to maintain this trust between the forces and the industry."
