The AMCA- Advanced Medium Combat Aircraft has also been approved for private industry participation, which is a very big step and today the country has such trust in the private industry and I am sure it will pave the way for bigger things to come in the future." He said whether it is the Army or the Navy, the Air Force will always be there and the Air Force should be of interest to both. He said, "Whatever operation we do, we cannot do it without the Air Force and I think this has been proved very well even during this operation (Sindoor). We cannot just talk about production in India. We have to start designing and developing in India as well and when it comes to production in numbers, the capability comes to the fore. So we need to maintain this trust between the forces and the industry."
