Delhi AIIMS, one of the best government hospitals in the country, has once again become the talk of the town. This time AIIMS Delhi has done something that will help patients not to come to AIIMS again and again to know the answers to questions related to their admission, they will be able to know the information from their homes in just one click. Let us inform you that Delhi AIIMS is one of the best hospitals in the country and this is the reason why patients have to wait for a long time for treatment here. The government has started an online dashboard for the convenience of patients.

Now you will get real time information about beds

Let us tell you that this dashboard will give information about the available beds etc. to the patients in real time. Along with this, many information related to OPD, emergency, surgery and waiting for investigation will be available. Currently, only information about Trauma Center, Emergency, Vishram Sadan and E-Hospital is being given on this dashboard. It was said that this project is currently in its trial phase. It will be fully launched in the next few days. It was told that in the coming days, AIIMS administration will also make the waiting list of surgery and investigation available on the dashboard. Let us tell you that AIIMS is trying to reduce the problems of patients with this initiative.

It further said that this initiative is aimed at addressing the problem of long waiting times for patients visiting OPD for procedures like Ultrasound, CT Scan, MRI and various surgeries.

Patients had to wait for many years

Let us tell you that AIIMS, one of the busiest hospitals in the country, always has a very high number of patients, due to which the patient's waiting period for some tests and surgeries increases to months or years. Patients complain that the waiting period for ENT surgery is up to 3 years, for orthopedic procedures up to 2 years and for neurosurgery about 1.5 years. Heart surgery also often has a wait of several years. There are months-long queues even for basic treatments like ultrasound and egg load test, and some appointments are given for up to two years later. To deal with this problem and reduce the inconvenience of patients, AIIMS is planning to show these waiting time details on its existing online dashboard.
