News Topical, Digital Desk : Gurugram To Neemrana Metro: There is great news for those traveling from Delhi to Neemrana in Rajasthan. Soon the speed of 'Namo Bharat' train will be seen in Gurugram too. Starting from Sarai Rohilla in Delhi, this high-speed metro will go directly to Neemrana. The special thing is that on this track, both 'Namo Bharat' and metro trains will run simultaneously.
The Chief Minister of Haryana has approved the revised DPR (Detailed Project Report) of this project. Under this, a total of 16 stations will be built via Delhi, Gurugram, Chawla Border and Rewari. The estimated cost of this 105 km long route is Rs 34,299 crore. In this, Rs 7342 crore will be given by the Haryana government.
Double comfort for passengers
Under this project, both trains will run on the same track. This means that there will be no need for separate corridors. This will reduce the construction cost and passengers will get better facilities. Industrial hubs like Gurugram, Rewari, Manesar, Binola, Dharuhera and Neemrana will be directly connected to it. The technology and experience of the National Capital Region Transport Corporation (NCRTC) will be beneficial on this route. NCRTC is running the Delhi-Meerut Rapid Rail and this new track will also be based on the same model.
Land acquisition process accelerated
The Haryana government has decided to provide 40 hectares of land for this project. In which NCRTC will build a depot on the ground floor and basement. While the Haryana government will carry out commercial activities above it. The Chief Minister has instructed the officials to expedite the process of land acquisition. The Rajasthan government has also been contacted for acquiring 70 hectares of land so that the construction work can proceed smoothly.
