The rainy season will continue in September as well

According to the Meteorological Department, the rainy season is going to continue in September as well. There is going to be a lot of rain in all the states in the first two weeks. Due to the formation of a low pressure area in Saurashtra and Kutch of Gujarat, heavy rains are occurring in the state. 

On the other hand, due to pressure in the Arabian Sea, there seems to be a possibility of a storm in Gujarat.

Heavy rain alert in Bihar

Heavy rain alert has been issued in Bihar as well. According to the meteorology department, during the next 24 hours, monsoon will move towards the Bay of Bengal via Shivpuri, Ambikapur deep depression. Therefore, people of 15 districts of Bihar have been appealed to be cautious.

There is a possibility of heavy rain in Patna, Begusarai, Darbhanga, Katihar, Purnia, Samastipur, Madhubani, Bhagalpur, Muzaffarpur, Kishanganj, Khagaria, Ara, Buxar, East Champaran, West Champaran.

What will be the weather condition in other states?

According to IMD, moderate to heavy rains may occur in western Gujarat in the next 24 hours. At the same time, light to moderate rains with heavy rains may occur at some places in parts of Karnataka, Kerala, Odisha, Chhattisgarh, Haryana, Punjab, Madhya Pradesh, Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand.
