The first fortnight of September has passed, this is the time for the departure of monsoon but rain continues in many states from the mountains to the plains of North and Central India. Traffic advisory issued in Delhi
Monsoon is active in the capital Delhi-NCR. People of the capital have started feeling the cold of November in the month of September itself. Delhi NCR will remain cloudy today as well and there is a possibility of rain. The sky will remain cloudy from September 15 to September 17. There is a possibility of rain with thunder in Delhi on September 18.
Due to waterlogging on major roads and underpasses, traffic jams occurred at many places. Due to this, people had to face a lot of trouble. Delhi Traffic Police said that traffic on NH-48 from Dhaula Kuan to Mahipalpur has been affected due to waterlogging. Traffic on the carriageway from Ashram to Badarpur is affected due to waterlogging near Madanpur Khadar Lal Batti.
Rain warning from MP, UP to Odisha
According to the Meteorological Department, light to moderate rain is expected in some areas of Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Konkan, Goa, Chhattisgarh, Jharkhand and Odisha during the next 24 hours. Due to rain in Rajasthan, the Sujan Ganga canal of Bharatpur city overflowed. Due to this, the canal water started coming on the roads.
Monsoon is also active in northeastern states and eastern coastal states
Heavy rain is possible at many places in Haryana, Uttarakhand, Himachal Pradesh. Moderate rain may occur at one or two places in Mizoram, Tripura, West Bengal. Anyway, monsoon is very active in many parts of the country. Due to this, the rain does not seem to stop.
