New Delhi: Questions are being raised on the quality of Delhi-Mumbai Expressway. The reason for this is that a big pit has formed in the middle of the expressway in Dausa district of Rajasthan. Its video is also going viral on social media.

On getting information about the pothole, the construction company immediately started the work of repairing it and barricaded the area. But in the meantime, the company has taken action against junior employee Banwari Lal who claimed that the pothole was caused by rats.

The mouse's argument proved costly

KCC Buildcon wrote a letter to the National Highway Authority informing that the employee who gave the reason of rats for the collapse of the road has been fired. The employee was a junior staff of the company. But he called himself a maintenance manager and made such a statement despite not having technical knowledge. His comment was not based on technical knowledge.

The company said in its statement that the employee's comments were reported through WhatsApp. We recognize the importance of accurate and reliable information. Especially in relation to public safety. We have taken appropriate action by terminating the employee's services with immediate effect.

The expressway passes through these states

Let us tell you that Delhi-Mumbai Expressway is the longest expressway in the country. Its length is 1,386 kilometers. This expressway passes through six states including Delhi. These states include Haryana, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat and Maharashtra. Due to the expressway, the journey between Delhi and Mumbai will be completed in just 12 hours instead of 24.
