Jaipur: Union Minister Ashwini Vaishnav on Tuesday held talks with officials and police of several states to thwart the plots to derail trains across the country, including Rajasthan, Kanpur and Gujarat.
Speaking to the media at Jaipur airport, the Railway Minister said that the Central Government takes security matters very seriously. Strict action will be taken against those who conspire to sabotage and derail trains.

The Union Minister arrived in Sawai Madhopur on Tuesday to inspect the armored train to check the efficiency of the automatic train protection system. Ashwini Vaishnav said that your safety is our priority. Talks are going on with the state governments, DGPs and Home Secretaries.
