New Delhi: The Supreme Court on Thursday heard the bail plea of Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal. It is worth noting that Kejriwal had challenged the CBI's arrest and sought relief from the Supreme Court. After hearing the case, the court has reserved the order.

Here, another interesting incident happened during the hearing in the court, when former US President Donald Trump was mentioned during the arguments of the case. Actually, during the hearing, Kejriwal's lawyer Abhishek Manu Singhvi mentioned the word Trump. After this, he jokingly said that nowadays Trump has become a dangerous word.

'Trump is a dangerous word'

According to a Bar and Bench report, Singhvi, while arguing in favour of Kejriwal, began by saying, "Article 21 of the Constitution will be Trump." Then he suddenly stopped and said that 'Trump' has become a 'dangerous word' these days. Then he continued his argument.

Earlier, Kejriwal's case was heard by a bench of Justice Suryakant and Justice Ujjwal Bhuiyan in the Supreme Court. During the hearing, arguments were presented by both the sides throughout the day. The Supreme Court also said that a bail case took a lot of time. Let us tell you that Kejriwal has already got bail in the ED case.

Bail has been granted in ED case

Now if they get bail in the case filed by CBI, their way out of jail will be clear. AAP leader Manish Sisodia, Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Singh, BRS leader K. Kavitha, AAP's communication in-charge Vijay Nair, who were arrested in the alleged liquor scam case of Delhi, have already got bail.
