A software engineer committed suicide in his house in Thanjavur near the old Mahabalipuram road in Chennai. He killed himself by wrapping electric wires around his body. When his wife returned from the temple, he did not open the door. When there was no response after repeated knocking, the wife opened the door with another key. But she was shocked to see the scene inside.
According to a Times of India report, the deceased, 38-year-old Karthikeyan, had been working in a software firm in Pallavaram for 15 years. He was originally from Theni.
There was an electricity connection from the junction box
After getting information from the neighbors, the police reached the spot and started the investigation. Police say that the young man was depressed due to work pressure. He was undergoing treatment for two months. The engineer was wearing only undergarments. There were electric wires wrapped around his whole body. There was an electricity connection from the main junction box of the hall.
Overwork took the life of Anna Sebastian
26-year-old Anna Sebastian, who worked for Ernst & Young India in Pune, died suddenly on 20 July. Anna died just four months after joining the company.
