'Mafia in Bollywood..' Udaipur Files producer furious at the film industry, targets 'War 2' and 'Coolie'

Amit Jani made allegations against Bollywood

Amit Jani said that his main purpose of coming to Udaipur was to meet Kanhaiyalal ji's family and pay tribute to him. He said, 'This film is based on his martyrdom and our effort is to reach the truth to the people'. When asked about the delay and obstacles in the release of the film, he revealed that there was pressure from political and film circles regarding the subject of the film and clash with big banner films like 'Coolie' and 'War'. Making serious allegations, he said, 'There is a mafia active in Bollywood too, which tries to stop the release of films made on such sensitive subjects'.

Told conspiracy against the film

Jani said that many theatres were threatened and some theatres in Maharashtra were vandalised. This was no ordinary protest, but a conspiracy. Due to this, many big multiplex groups refused to show the film, which limited the screening of the film. He also expressed dissatisfaction over the cuts imposed by the censor board. He said, 'Every producer wants his film to reach the audience without cuts. If this had happened, the impact would have been even deeper'.

Plan to take the film to international level

However, he also admitted that the main message of the film has reached the audience. He said, now there is a plan to take 'Udaipur Files' to the international level. This film will be released in many countries of the world from September 5. Our aim is not just to make a film, but to bring out the truth. We will continue to bring such stories in the future too, the film was released in India on August 11, but it could not be shown in many theaters. Now the makers are preparing to take this issue to the global stage. After staying in Udaipur, he left for Ahmedabad.
