Now recently, actor Abhay Arora, who played an important role in 'Dhurandhar: The Revenge', has told that many people from Lyari, Pakistan were actually cast for the film.

Was this how the shoot took place with Pakistani artists? 

“Some of the people in the crowd shot in Bangkok were actually from Lyari, Pakistan. When they came to the set, they said it looked exactly like Lyari. They were living in Bangkok, and for this scene, we needed some local people, like people walking behind the crowd and cheering in the stage scenes. All the people involved were cast in Bangkok, but many of them originally came from Lyari, Pakistan.”

Abhay Arora further said, “They were able to understand the details shown in the scene. I saw that some people were very surprised. Their reaction was that none of you have ever been to Lyari, yet how is every detail shown in the film so amazing.”

For those unaware, Abhay Arora played the role of gangster Yasir, Arshad Pappu's younger brother, in "Dhurandhar 2." Abhay Arora's performance as Yasir has been widely praised.
