Sourabh Raaj Jain was rejected before 'Mahabharat', then how did he get the role of Shri Krishna?

News Topical, Digital Desk : Saurabh Raj Jain has worked in many reality shows and daily soaps, but he got recognition in every household for playing the role of Shri Krishna in the mythological show Mahabharat telecast from 2013 to 2014.

Sourabh Raaj Jain  portrayed the character of Shri Krishna in Mahabharata made under the banner of Swastik Productions in such a way that everyone became crazy about him. But do you know that before this he had been rejected once for the role of Shri Krishna. This was revealed by Sourabh Raaj himself in an interview.

Saurabh was rejected from Mahabharata

Saurabh Raj Jain revealed in an interview with Ranveer Allahabadia that  before Mahabharat came in 2013  , he had to play the role of Shri Krishna in two shows, out of which he was rejected in one. He said-

First of all, I was cast for the role of Shri Krishna in the show Jai Shri Krishna. I was supposed to play Shri Krishna but the child in the show did not grow up, so I could not become Krishana. Then after that Ekta Kapoor's Mahabharat came, I went to give audition for that too and I was rejected there. I don't know what was the reason.

How did you get the role of Shri Krishna in Mahabharata?

Saurabh Jain further said that even though he was rejected from Ekta Kapoor's Mahabharata, when Swastik Production's Mahabharata was being made, I was called for audition through the same casting director. He further said-

The pilot episode was made there first. Everyone liked the pilot episode very much, but for some reason it got delayed for another year. I thought that it might not happen now, but after a year it happened again.

Saurabh Raj Jain got the most love and appreciation for his role of Shri Krishna, but he has also played the role of Lord Vishnu and Lord Shiva.
