News Topical, Digital Desk : The speed at which technology is developing, it can be guessed that soon nothing will be impossible for humans. But the continuous development of technology has left humanity far behind.

Recently, New Zealand MP Laura McClure has exposed the dark truth of deepfake technology to the world. She showed an AI-generated nude picture of herself on the floor of the Parliament, which was completely fake. MP McClure said, "This is my nude picture, but it is not real."

Speaking on the dangers of deepfakes, he said: "It's humiliating and heartbreaking for the victims. I felt horrible holding up this image in Parliament, even though I knew it wasn't me."

'The problem is not in technology, but in its misuse'

Sharing this picture on her Instagram account, Laura wrote, "Today I showed my AI-generated nude deepfake picture in Parliament to show how real they look and how easy it is to create them. The problem is not in the technology, but in its misuse, which is harming people. Our laws have to match its seriousness."
