News Topical, Digital Desk : The situation has become clearer after the BMC election results were announced. Meanwhile, Shiv Sena (UBT) chief Uddhav Thackeray has reacted. He said that those who won by betrayal are holding Mumbai hostage. 

Following the election results, Uddhav Thackeray addressed the public on Saturday. He addressed party workers and winners at the Matoshree gate. During this, he accused them of betrayal.

What did Uddhav Thackeray say on the results?

Speaking to the public, Uddhav Thackeray said, "All of you are the true deserving ones of this success; we are merely instrumental. The result achieved under these circumstances is something to be proud of." 

He further said that there is a difference between us and the BJP. They think they have destroyed the Shiv Sena on paper, but they can never destroy the Shiv Sena on the ground, because they themselves can never remain connected to the ground.

Uddhav Thackeray made the allegation

Uddhav Thackeray accused the Mahayuti Yuva Yuva Yuva Yuva Yuva Yuva Yuva Yuva Yuva, alleging that this election involved persuasion, coercion, and abuse of power and agencies. He further stated that the traitors are gone, but they could never buy loyalty.

I respectfully bow to all of you. Our responsibility has now increased further. Uddhav Thackeray said, "It is our dream to become mayor. If God wills, it will also come true." He also said that Marathi people will never forgive this sin.

I am proud of you – Uddhav Thackeray

In his address, Uddhav Thackeray said, "I am proud of you. You fought with dedication. When I was traveling, we couldn't provide any special facilities. We have body and mind, they only have money. With our united strength, we made them sweat."

He further said, "Keep this strength united so that future generations can be proud of you. I bow down and give the credit for this victory to all of you. The fight is not over yet. Perseverance is the most important thing; no one can buy it. With this perseverance, we will achieve victory again."
