At the same time, now the weather is going to change rapidly in Bihar as the monsoon has knocked in Bihar. According to the Meteorological Department, the monsoon will become fully active in Bihar today.
Alert in these areas of Bihar
The first monsoon rain in Bihar has been recorded in Banka, Bhagalpur, Katihar, Purnia, Kishanganj, Araria, Madhepura, Saharsa and Supaul districts. Heavy rain, thunderstorms and strong winds are expected in many parts of the state. The Meteorological Department has issued an alert in many areas of Bihar.
Monsoon has also arrived in Gujarat
Monsoon has arrived in Gujarat as well, but the intensity of heavy rains that have been going on for the last two days will now decrease, as the low pressure area is shifting towards the northwest. Heavy pre-monsoon rains in Delhi on Tuesday afternoon eased the heat. The rains accompanied by strong winds not only reduced the humidity, but also brought down the temperature.
Monsoon is very close in Delhi
According to the weather department, there is a forecast of thunderstorms and rain continuing on Wednesday as well. There is also a possibility of monsoon coming very close to Delhi by the weekend. The weather department has issued a yellow alert for Wednesday.
Under this, light to moderate rainfall has been predicted along with thunderstorms with lightning and wind speed of 50 to 60 kmph, especially during the night. The maximum and minimum temperatures are expected to be around 34 and 27 degrees Celsius respectively.
Rain in many areas of UP
Meteorologist Atul Kumar Singh said that monsoon will arrive in the state on Wednesday. There are chances of good rain in the current week, due to which the day temperature can fall by seven degrees Celsius. Due to waterlogging on the track between Bareilly Junction and Bareilly City Station, the operation of two trains on the Tanakpur Kasganj route was halted for an hour. Half a dozen trains were affected. While the fall in temperature due to rain brought some relief, incidents of lightning took the lives of 10 people.
Rain will continue in Northeast
Heavy rains may continue in the northeastern states. Rain activity will reduce slightly in Karnataka and Maharashtra, while moderate rains may occur in coastal areas. The Meteorological Department believes that despite the break, the monsoon is not behind. It has arrived before time and may soon cover the entire country.
