We are making every effort to ensure that low value currency is used as much as possible. Two thousand rupee notes have almost completely gone out of circulation, and now only 0.02 percent of the notes are out of the banking system.

Nirmala Sitharaman was speaking on the topic 'Work, Wealth and Welfare: Towards a People-First Economy' at the two-day National Commemoration Conference organised by Dr. Syama Prasad Mukherjee Research Foundation (SPMRF). The conference was organised at the NDMC Convention Centre to mark the 60th anniversary of Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya's Integral Humanism lectures.

 

Modi government emphasizes on Indianization of defense products

 

Nirmala said that a glimpse of integral humanism can be seen in every policy of the Modi government. Nirmala said that Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya tried to establish a balance between capitalism and communism, and this government is running on this basis.

He said that after 2014, the Modi government has emphasized on Indianization of defense products, an example of which was seen during Operation Sindoor. Along with this, employment fairs, easy loans for MSMEs and other efforts to improve the living standards of the people are also among the major goals of the government.

 

BJP's aim is to create a contemporary system based on Indian thinking: Arun Kumar

 

Earlier, in the inaugural session, RSS Joint General Secretary Arun Kumar said that the aim of the BJP is not just to gain power but to establish a system suitable for the times on the basis of Indian thinking.

 

He said that efforts are being made to develop the country's politics around this idea. Referring to Deendayal Upadhyaya's Integral Humanism, Arun Kumar said that the intention of creating a new system on the basis of Indian thinking is to build a new building on the old foundation.

 

Prabhat Kumar also released the book 'Integral Human Philosophy'

 

He said that during the invasion of the Mughals and the British, the cultural system of India was destroyed, which created an atmosphere of self-oblivion and self-condemnation in the society. Mahesh Chandra Sharma from Ekatma Manavvad Sanstha, Anirban Ganguly, President of Shyama Prasad Mukherjee Research Foundation, Sumit Bhasin, Director of PPRC and Prabhat Kumar of Prabhat Prakashan also released the book 'Ekatma Manav Darshan'.

3D model of Brahmos tells the story of military prowess

 

An exhibition was also organised in the conference, which included a 3D model based stall of Brahmos and a 3D video presentation of Indian made weapons shown in Operation Sindoor in 'Shaurya Path' based stall. Stalls were also set up in the exhibition on subjects like Modi government's Sankalp se Siddhi, India's foreign policy, education culture, digital India etc.
