News Topical, Digital Desk : Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate the Delhi-Dehradun Greenfield Highway on April 14th. A helicopter rehearsal was conducted at the helipad on Sunday afternoon. Meanwhile, a briefing was held at the meeting place set up in the rest area in Manoharpur and security guidelines were given. For security purposes, five super zones have been created from the helipad to the Daat Mandir, and security has been assigned to each zone.
Senior police and administrative officials have taken charge, finalizing preparations for the events of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. A briefing was held on Sunday afternoon. IG Security, ADG Intelligence Lucknow, Divisional Commissioner Dr. Rupesh Kumar, DIG Abhishek Kumar Singh, District Magistrate Manish Bansal, SSP Abhinandan, and others were present.
The police force and officers and employees of other departments on VVIP duty were given instructions regarding the arrangements. For security purposes, five super zones have been created from the helipad to the Dat Mandir, and security has been assigned to each zone. The helicopter also conducted a rehearsal at the helipad built for the Prime Minister in Ganeshpur. Both sides of the temporary road leading from the highway to the helipad have been blocked by barricades.
For security purposes, the helipad and its surroundings are constantly monitored by security agencies, including the Bomb Disposal Squad. Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami arrived at the Maa Daat Kali Temple on Sunday afternoon. He inspected the arrangements and then offered prayers at the temple.
Mobile network on elevated corridor
With the launch of mobile network on the 12-km-long elevated corridor of the Greenfield Highway, mobile phones are now ringing. This was made possible by the installation of towers by NHAI. It's worth noting that during the journey via the old road, mobile phones remained out of order from Mohand to Daat Mandir due to lack of network.
