Nityanand Rai stated that everything was fine and positive. Chirag Paswan also stated that the meeting was positive. The meeting between the two leaders took place in Delhi.
Speaking to the media after the meeting, Union Minister and BJP leader Nityanand Rai said, "The smiles on both our faces tell the story. The conversation was positive. Chirag will explain everything in due course." Union Minister and LJP (Ram Vilas) chief Chirag Paswan responded, “He has explained it; the conversation was positive. Everything else will be explained in a relaxed manner.”
Has Chirag Paswan's anger ended?
BJP leader Nityanand Rai did not respond when asked if Chirag Paswan's anger had subsided. After speaking with the media, Rai escorted Chirag Paswan to his car, stood there until he got in, and then left in his own car.
Parliamentary board meeting of Chirag Paswan's party
Amid discussions about seat-sharing, sources indicate that a meeting of the LJP (Ram Vilas) Parliamentary Board has been called in Delhi on Friday (October 10). However, the five MPs will not attend. The meeting will be held on Friday afternoon. Chirag Paswan, Rajesh Verma, and Veena Bharti will be present, along with Parliamentary Board Chairman Hulas Pandey. Arun Bharti and Shambhavi are unlikely to attend.
How many seats will Chirag Paswan get?
According to sources, negotiations with Chirag Paswan on a 26-seat formula have nearly been finalized. This formula includes 23 assembly seats, two MLC seats, and one Rajya Sabha seat. It is believed that Chirag Paswan's agreement with the BJP and JDU on these seats has been finalized. Several senior BJP leaders have been tasked with persuading Chirag Paswan. It is expected that the seat-sharing issue within the NDA will be fully resolved between today and tomorrow (October 10).
It should be noted that the nomination process for the first phase of Bihar elections will begin on October 10. Voting for the first phase is on November 6, while the second phase is on November 11. Counting will take place on November 14.
